Join Bennie’s Fight Against Cancer
Bennie’s cancer journey began suddenly and violently in July 2019. What started as a medical concern quickly turned into a race against time. Within days of a routine visit and diagnostic tests, doctors discovered a large mass on his kidney and a second one on his spine…both stage 4 tumors. There was no time to process, no time to prepare, only to act. In less than a week, Bennie was on the operating table undergoing life-saving surgery to remove his left kidney and both tumors. Thanks to the skill and dedication of his medical team, and the unwavering support of his wife, Lynsey, Bennie’s life was spared.
But that was only the beginning. Since then, Bennie has continued an unrelenting battle with Stage 4 metastatic renal cell carcinoma, now facing his fifth tumor in just four and a half years. Through every treatment, setback, and new diagnosis, he’s shown extraordinary courage and determination to keep fighting – to live, to love, and to give hope to others walking this same difficult road.
